Rob Asher is CEO and Co-Founder of Giraffe, a real estate development platform connecting design, GIS and financial data in real time. With a background in architecture and BIM, he works at the intersection of technology and development to enable faster, data-driven decision-making and more sustainable urban outcomes. Based in Sydney, Australia, Rob focuses on breaking traditional silos between design, planning and finance.
Jacob De Sutter is Head of Customer Success at Qonic and a structural engineer by background. Formerly presales lead at Bricsys, he specialises in translating BIM potential into practical workflows. Jacob has supported hundreds of architecture and engineering teams in implementing digital tools to improve efficiency, coordination and project delivery.
Tiemen Strobbe is Head of Product at Qonic and an expert in digital design technology. Holding a PhD in Architecture and Computer Science, he previously led the development of BricsCAD BIM. Tiemen focuses on generative design, open standards and automation, helping advance structured, data-driven workflows across the AEC industry.
This hands-on workshop explores the integrated workflow between Giraffe and Qonic, connecting early-stage feasibility modelling directly to structured, BIM-ready outputs — without rebuilding geometry.
Participants will see how rapid massing and scenario exploration can evolve seamlessly into validated, data-rich BIM deliverables. By combining real-time spatial modelling, structured data intelligence and automated IDS validation, the session demonstrates how design speed and precision can coexist.
The workshop is designed for architects, developers and digital leads looking to bridge concept design, compliance and downstream coordination within a single connected workflow.

Qonic is the next-generation BIM platform designed to transform complex design data into actionable project information. Where traditional tools lead to fragmented workflows and file chaos, Qonic provides a single, browser-based environment for modelling, clash detection, and collaboration. Powered by advanced technology, Qonic handles even the most massive models with seamless performance. With git-based versioning, real-time IDS validation, and automated quantity take-offs, Qonic supports a more controlled and transparent approach to delivering structured project information
Giraffe is a real estate development platform that connects design, GIS and financial modelling in real time. Acting as a common data environment for architects, developers and public authorities, it enables rapid feasibility studies grounded in spatial and economic data. By blending BIM, geospatial context and financial logic, Giraffe transforms early-stage massing and site analysis into a live decision-making process — breaking down traditional silos between design, planning and development.
